Wichita World XI Cricket Club

2wwxicc Logo 1699 x 501 Foxfire Field , Purchased in November of 2002 , as 10 acres of minimally used tree farm land. This piece of land was transformed into a private cricket field (one of only a handful in the USA) we started by clearing any left over saplings , then filling in tree spade holes.  We had a concrete pitch poured in April of 2003, covering it with outdoor carpet in that same month. Putting in batting nets in June of 2003. August of 2004 we put in place the boundary fence of white posts, then started on the 1500 sq ft pavilion in November of 2004 , All of 2005 & most of 2006 we worked on interior framing finally finishing the pavilions interior in September of 2006. Also in June of 2006 we tilled and laid Bermuda sod 20,000 sq ft  of it in the infield.

All this makes Foxfire field one of the best Cricket Grounds in America.

The Pavilion can sleep 12 , has a shower and Big Screen TV , Fridge and even heat and air conditioning.  It would be a great place for your team to tour and play some friendly matches. Link to map
